About Demon Slayer Kimetsu no Yaiba
Only two of the Kamado family survived a demon attack – Tanjiro Kamado and Nezuko Kamado, who was transformed into a demon. So now Tanjiro and Nezuko are out for revenge. Tanjiro joins the Demon Slayer Corps to better protect his sister and try to cure her. With fellow Demon Slayers Inosuke and Zenitsu, they kill demons and try to track down Muzan Kibutsuji, the Demon King.
Demon Slayer is a popular anime series that is based on the manga of the same name. The series follows the story of a young boy named Tanjiro who, after losing his family to demons, sets out on a journey to avenge their deaths and protect his younger sister from the same fate. Along the way, he meets other demon slayers and learns the skills needed to fight the demons. The manga was written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotouge and was first published in 2016. The anime adaptation premiered in 2019 and quickly gained a large fanbase due to its compelling story, dynamic characters, and stunning animation.
Demon Slayer season 3 has recently had its premiere date revealed as being April 2023. And it has also been confirmed that the third season will follow The Swordsmith Arc.
The Demon Slayer Funko Pop collection is still expanding – the first Demon Slayer wave was announced for Funkoween 2021. And a brand new Wave 2 of Demon Slayer pops has just been announced in January at the Funko Fair 2023. The new wave features some first time Funko outings for some characters such as Rui, Kanao Tsuyuri, Mitsuri Kanroji, Rengoku, Kanao Tsyuri, Kagaya Ubuyashiki. As well as some brand new version of popular favorites such as Tanjiro and Nezuko. Wave 2 Demon Slayer are available for pre-order and will be released in April 2023.
